1080p Security Camera System With 2-way Audio

Only the ADC-V515, ADC-V521IR, ADC-V522IR, ADC-V523, ADC-V622-WELL, and the Alarm.com and SkyBell Video Doorbell Cameras support 2-way audio with the 2GIG Edge. The other compatible cameras for 2GIG Edge streaming are video only. Most outdoor and PoE cameras do not support audio streaming.

Certain Alarm.com Cameras can be streamed from the 2GIG Edge and any paired 2GIG Edge Remote Keypads. In order to do this, the camera must be a compatible model, and it must be paired with the user's Alarm.com account. This will require that the user has video surveillance set up on their Alarm.com account. Alarm Grid customers will need a Platinum Level Plan (Self or Full) to do this. After the camera has been enrolled, the user must enable the "View at Panel" setting for the camera from the Alarm.com account. In addition, the "Audio for non-doorbell cameras" add-on must be enabled through Alarm.com in order to be able to use the 2-way audio feature. The user will then be able to view the camera from the 2GIG Edge Panel and any 2GIG Edge Remote Keypads after the system has synced with Alarm.com. The user can wait a few minutes for a sync to occur automatically, or they can reboot the panel (power it down and then back on) to force a sync with Alarm.com. More information on how to stream cameras on the 2GIG Edge can be found in this helpful FAQ.

1080p Security Camera System With 2-way Audio

Many Alarm.com Cameras that can be streamed from the 2GIG Edge and its paired 2GIG Edge Remote Keypad support two-way audio. These cameras have a built-in speaker and microphone just like the 2GIG Edge Alarm Panel and the 2GIG Edge Remote Keypad. This makes it possible to have a live conversation between anyone at the Edge Panel or Edge Remote Keypad and the paired Alarm.com Camera that supports two-way audio. The following Alarm.com Cameras support 2-way audio with the 2GIG Edge:

There are other Alarm.com Cameras that support video streaming from the 2GIG Edge and 2GIG Edge Remote Keypad, but they do not support 2-way audio functionality. These are typically outdoor cameras and PoE cameras. The following Alarm.com Cameras can be streamed from the 2GIG Edge and 2GIG Edge Remote Keypad for video, but they do not support 2-way audio:

The Viewtron IP-C2 is a 1080p / 2mp wireless IP camera with built-in IR night vision, PIR motion detector, and 2-way audio mic. This network IP camera is design for indoor installation. It can be desktop, wall, or ceiling mounted. This camera can be hard wired using the PoE network port, or it can connect to a wireless network. Please note that in order to use WIFI mode, the camera still needs to be connected to a power supply.

This IP camera is ONVIF protocol compliant so that it can be used with any ONVIF compatible NVR. CCTV Camera Pros highly recommends using our Viewtron hybrid security camera DVRs when using this camera in addition to BNC cameras, or Viewtron IP camera NVRs when designing a pure IP camera system. You can find additional Viewtron network IP cameras here.

CCTV Camera Pros also has these wireless IP camera systems available which include the IP-C2 camera and a Viewtron IP camera NVR. You can also request a custom security camera system quote that includes both hard wired and wireless security cameras. We highly recommend hard wired security cameras over wireless. You can request a free phone consultation to learn more.

When the IP-C2 is used as a wireless security camera, desktop installation is very common. Once the wireless connection is configured, you can simply plug the camera into any power outlet and as long as it is within range of the wireless access point, it will automatically connect.

This is a wireless security camera system with remote viewing. Watch this video to see how well the IR night vision works on Mike's patio. Mike accesses all of his cameras remotely from the iPhone app. Mike has hard wired IP cameras and the IP-C2 wireless IP camera connected to his network video recorder.

Did you know? CCTV Camera Pros can provide a complete surveillance system quote that includes any Viewtron DVR / NVR with cameras, cables, connectors, power supplies, and monitors? We can even mix and match IP cameras and BNC security cameras because Viewtron DVRs are hybrid.

As you have probably already seen on our website, we have 2, 4, 8, and 16 camera surveillance systems in pre-made packages. However, it is not possible for us to package up every combination and quantity of all the different camera models that we carry. So, we can also provide you with a custom quote with as many cameras as you need and a mix of any combination of camera model(s) based on your project requirements.

The IP-C2 works great with Viewtron hybrid security camera DVRs and Viewtron IP camera NVRs. Viewtron hybrids support BNC cameras and network IP cameras up to 4K resolution. Viewtron NVRs support IP cameras and have built-in power over Ethernet. The remote camera viewing apps are able to connect directly to Viewtron IP cameras and also to DVRs / NVRs.

Although capabilities vary between devices, all indoor security cameras allow you to monitor the interior of your home through live or recorded video. Some of the features that differentiate them are alarms, the ability to send notifications when they detect activity, and two-way audio. Other cams are suitable for monitoring your baby or even double as full-on home automation hubs.

If you're in the market for a budget-friendly indoor security camera with 2K resolution, the Eufy Indoor Cam 2K Pan & Tilt P24 is a top choice. Priced at less than $55 and packed with high-end features, it's an unbeatable value. One omission is support for IFTTT, so if you use the automation tool to link your smart home devices, we recommend the Wyze Cam V3. We'll also note that while you can control it with Siri voice commands, some features aren't available in HomeKit including sound detection, pet commands, activity zones, and intelligent motion alerts.

The Wyze Cam V3 is one of the most feature-rich home security cameras you can buy, even if you're willing to spend more money. It not only delivers high-quality 1080p video, it also offers color night vision, local and cloud storage, intelligent motion and sound detection, and voice control. It integrates seamlessly with other Wyze devices such as door locks, smart bulbs, and sensors, and it supports IFTTT applets that allow it to work with numerous third-party devices.

The Ring Stick Up Cam is all about ease of use. You can place it just about anywhere on the inside or outside of your home without having to worry about staying close to an outlet or snaking a power cord. Most of today's home security cameras are easy to install, but because the Ring Stick Up Cam runs on battery power, it's simpler than most. This model captures video at 1080p and has a 115-degree field of view, an upgrade from its predecessor's 720p resolution and 80-degree field of view. Day and night video appeared sharp in our tests, and motion detection worked well, as did Amazon Alexa and IFTTT integrations.

Amazon owns Blink and Ring, so you might be wondering why it offers such seemingly similar security cameras as the Blink Indoor and the Ring Stick Up Cam Battery. Both are wireless, battery-powered 1080p security cameras that deliver sharp video and accurate motion detection. The Blink Indoor costs $20 less, but the trade-off is that it requires a wireless hub (which is included in the box) and has a slightly narrower field of view (110 vs. 115 degrees). The camera is powered by two AA batteries that provide up to two years of battery life. It works with Alexa voice commands and can be triggered by third-party smart devices with IFTTT applets, and it will record video when motion is detected and store it in the cloud (if you have a subscription). Or, you can connect a USB drive to the hub and store your videos locally. Overall, it's one of the most value-rich indoor cameras you can buy.

We like that Google's battery-powered Nest Cam that works indoors or outside, but it's one of the pricier home security cameras out there. Although it isn't quite as versatile, the Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) offers many of the same features for around $80 less. Easy to set up and manage, the indoor Nest Cam delivers sharp 1080p video, accurately detects motion, and can distinguish between motion from people, animals, and cars. Just keep in mind that you must subscribe to a paid Nest Aware plan to view video that's more than three hours old and to use the camera's face recognition feature.

Best known for its video doorbells and outdoor security cameras, Ring's Indoor Cam ($59.99) is the company's first indoor-only camera, as well as its most affordable model to date. It installs in minutes and delivers sharp daytime and nighttime 1080p video as well as clean two-way audio. It quickly responds to Alexa voice commands and IFTTT applets. Just keep in mind that while the camera offers motion detection, you have to pay a monthly fee to activate and view motion-triggered recordings. It has the same cylindrical shape as the Ring Stick Up Cam Battery, but at 2.9 by 1.8 inches (HW), it's almost half the size.

For less than $50, the TP-Link Kasa Spot Pan Tilt KC410S indoor security camera gives you a 360-degree view. Designed for indoor use only, the KC410S uses mechanical pan and tilt controls and a 2K camera to record highly detailed video in every corner of the room you place it in. It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands, but it doesn't support many IFTTT integrations. The KC410S sends a push alert and records video when it detects motion or sound, and can let you know if a person is to blame for the disturbance. To store and view recordings, you need a microSD card (up to 256GB) or a Kasa Care subscription (starting at $3 per month for 30 days of video history). 2ff7e9595c
